Seminar held to hear and address concerns of Gothong national high school teachers
THE Gothong Southern Shipping Lines Inc., through its corporate social responsibility (CSR), initiated a seminar on basic practices for the teachers of Gothong Memorial National High School in barangay Basak-San Nicolas, Cebu City last Oct. 24 and 25.
Gothong Southern Human Resource officials Josephine Enego, Leolu Tagalog and Rolo Cena facilitated the seminar, which aimed to assess the challenges, problems and concerns of the teachers, and map out the diagnosis before coming up with the solution.
On the second day of the seminar, Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of a Highly Effective Professional” was tackled by the team.
Gothong Southern has committed to help the school achieve its plans and programs in raising its educational standing.
The shipping company believes that enhancing the skills of the teachers would translate to the improvement of the students’ learning.
