Couple caught having sex at Rizal Park

MANILA, Philippines—A live-in couple was arrested after allegedly being caught having sex at Rizal Park in Manila Thursday evening, a park security officer said Friday.
Edmar Rapales of Parks and Recreation Bureau Luneta said he was patrolling at the park when he chanced upon the couple identified as Rey Jojo, 26; and Maria Teresa Salvador, 23, with their pants pulled down to their knees inside the Chinese Garden around 10 p.m.
Radio reports quoted Rapales as saying that the couple was sitting, and that Salvador was on top of the guy.
The couple was taken to the Rizal Park Police after having their pants pulled up, Rapales said, adding that they wouldn’t have been eventually arrested if only Jojo did not argue with the park official.
Jojo denied they were having sex in the park but Salvador apparently confirmed it, saying that they weren’t just able to hold back.
The couple are facing charges for violation of City Ordinance 7780, or Indecent Act in a Public Place.
