Corona fails to submit counter-affidavit vs tax evasion case

MANILA, Philippines—Former Chief Justice Renato Corona again did not submit his counter-affidavit in response to the tax evasion case filed against him by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
The DoJ panel of investigators led by Senior State Prosecutor Rosanne Elepaño-Balauag gave Corona, who is celebrating his birthday today, Monday, 10 more days or up to Oct. 25 to submit his counter-affidavit.
