Comelec to 53 candidates: Prove you’re not nuisance

MANILA, Philippines—The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will summon next week 57 people who filed their certificates of candidacy to allow them to prove they’re not nuisance candidates.

The poll body said that the following candidates would be called for a hearing at 9 a.m. on Thursday:

3. Bernardino, Aeric P.
4. Bula, Leonardo C.
5. Cabrera, Rafael M.
6. Cadag, Victorio Angelo A.
7. Cailing, Patrocino A.

10. Dimaya, Arsenio T.
11. Donato, Juanito E.
12. Escosura, Anicio B.
13. Espinosa, Manuel P.
