More than 100 golfers vie in Sta. Lucia golf today
Cebu Daily NewsMORE than 100 golfers coming from various golf clubs of the Santa Lucia Realty and Development Inc. (SLRDI) will gather today at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club (AVGCC) for the Cebu leg of the Santa Lucia Golf Tour.
The tournament which is open to members of good standing of courses developed by the SLRDI will be a four-man team event with the three best scores for the round to count for the team total.
Teams will be coming from Royale Tagaytay, The Orchard, Beverly Place, Summit Point, Lake Wood, Eagle Ridge, Rancho Palos Verdes, and host Alta Vista.
They will be classified under four categories based on the average handicap of the players.
The Molave System will be used for scoring which will give nine points for a hole-in-one, seven for an albatross, five for eagle, four for birdie, three for par, two for bogey, and one for double-bogey.
Prizes at stake will be for the top two teams per handicap category while individual awards will be given to the top three players per handicap class. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
