JERUSALEM–One person was killed on Friday when an American tourist opened fire in the lobby of a hotel in the southern Israeli resort town of Eilat on the Red Sea, Israel police said.
“An American tourist opened fire in the lobby of the Leonardo Club hotel in Eilat, killing one person,” police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP, saying a large number of police had been deployed to the scene.
