Senate suspends work from noon onwards

MANILA, Philippines – Work in the Senate was suspended on Wednesday due to bad weather, the Office of the Senate President said.
Employees in the Senate were directed a little past 12 noon to go home starting 1pm.
The Senate of the Philippines is housed in the GSIS complex in Pasay City.
Sessions in Congress were suspended this week to pave the way for the filing of certificates of candidacy for the 2013 elections but not the regular work of its employees.
