Zamboanga road mishap kills 1, injures 9

MANILA, Philippines–One killed and nine wounded in a vehicular accident in Zamboanga City Thursday morning, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said in its bulletin Friday.

The fatality has been identified as Erwin Sierra, 33, driver of the L-300 van that collided with a cargo truck past 6 a.m. Thursday at sitio Binaloy in Buenavista village.

The injured were: Nathaniel Eluterio, 1; Markel Bautista, 26; Joey Toledo, 23; Jay Samontina, 27; Ryan Leotero, 32; Iyong Kunding, 40; Yuri Eluterio, 3; Analina Eluterio, 20 and Randell Mark Leotero.
