Zaldy Ampatuan to be returned to jail at noon—jail official

MANILA, Philippines – Zaldy Ampatuan will be brought back to Camp Bagong Diwa not later than noon Friday, unless there’s a new court order for his continued stay in the Philippine Heart Center following an angiogram, according to the officer-in-charge of Quezon City Jail Annex in Bicutan, Taguig.

“We have not received any new court order for Ampatuan to stay beyond what was stated in the last order of Judge Reyes,” Chief Inspector Bernadino Edgar Camus told the Philippine Daily Inquirer in a telephone interview.

Camus said Ampatuan was resting in his room in the company of his wife, Johaira.
