Cesafi battle for third games today

WITH THEIR hopes for a title shelved for now, four teams will try to end the season with some hardware as they gun for the third place trophy today in the 12th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.
The University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars take on the ousted champions University of Cebu Webmasters in the seniors division while the Cebu Eastern College Dragons face off against the Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildkittens in juniors play.
Both matchups will be a best-of-three affair.
UC missed the final cut for the finals after losing to the Southwestern University Cobras in the semifinals last Sunday, 55-70. They ended the single round-robin semis with a 1-2 (win-loss) record.
USJ-R finished the semis without a single win, culminating with a 59-68 loss to the University of the Visayas last Sunday. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
