The labor force participation rate in Metro Manila was at 63.7 percent in October 2011, up from 63.5 percent in the same period in 2010, according to the recent Labor Force Survey. Metro Manila posted an 89.6 percent employment rate in October 2011. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
