6 China state ships in island waters–Japan Coast Guard
TOKYO — Six Chinese government ships sailed into waters around disputed islands early Friday, the Japanese coastguard said, adding it had issued warning for them to leave.
The arrival came just days after the Japanese government announced it had completed its planned purchase of the islands, known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.
