Cebu LP to announce lineup; Koko sets up PDP-Laban base

THE Cebu chapter of the Liberal Party (LP) will assemble its newly recruited local officials in a mass oath-taking next week.
Expect to see “some new faces”, said LP spokesperson Mary Pauline Gothong.
Interior and Local Governments Secretary Mar Roxas, party president, will administer the oath on Sept. 15.
During the event, the LP provincial assembly in Cebu will announce their line-up for local and congressional candidates.
The Cebu LP is finalizing the certificates of nomination and acceptance.
“The lineup is about 85 percent complete,” Gothing said.
On the possibility of a tieup with the Alayon party of Eduardo Gullas, following the alliance with the Nacionalista Party, she said there was no decision.
“There are many things to consider, the relationships between local and national,” she said.
