Indian national killed
Cebu Daily NewsAn Indian national was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding assailant in barangay Cansojong, Talisay City, southern Cebu last Monday afternoon.
Bhupinder Singh, 36, died on the spot with multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
Police said the victim came from a drinking session at the house of another Indian national in barangay Poblacion.
The victim was walking near a gasoline station when he was shot by a motorcycle-riding gunman.
Police said it was possible that the assailants waited for the victim and tailed him when he left from his friend’s house.
The victim’s wife told police that personal grudges could be the motive of the attack.
Responding police recovered five empty shells and one deformed slug of a .45 pistol in the crime scene./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
