MANILA, Philippines—The House committee on appropriations on Tuesday swiftly approved the proposed budget for 2013 of the Office of the President.
Like how the panel treated the proposed funding for the office of Vice President Jejomar Binay, the P2.7-billion budget being suggested for the office of President Benigno Aquino III took less than five minutes to be approved.
Two motions to terminate the deliberations from the panel led to the immediate approval of the proposed budget.
