Win on Waste Week at USJ-R
Cebu Daily NewsThe Win on Waste (WOW) program of the University of San Jose-Recoletos will celebrate Win on Waste Week 2012 on Sept. 10-15.
The celebration is anchored on the theme “Pagpakabana sa Kalikupan, Singgit sa mga Josenians.”
Series of environmental activities are slated for the week. Some of the highlights are the Theater Caravan Contest and the Environmental Walk and Concert which will serve as the culminating activity.
Each college is expected to sponsor environmental activities per day starting yesterday, Sept. 3.
The Piso para sa kalikasan campaign will be implemented by the WOW team with the help of WOW Anchors and the Supreme Student Council officers. The collected funds will be used to buy prizes for the contests, purchasing materials for the exhibits and printing of environmental tarpaulins, among others.
