230 out of 703 pass veterinarian licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines—The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday that 230 out of 703 passed the veterinarian licensure examination given by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in the cities of Manila and Cagayan de Oro this August 2012.

The members of the Board of Veterinary Medicine are Dr. Lina S. Policarpio, chairman; Dr. Tomas M. Acorda and Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, members.

The top performing school in the August 2012 Veterinarian Licensure Examination as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010 is the University of the Philippines-Los Baños with 84.48 percent.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places are the following:

1 Natalie Chan Tio (UPLB, 84.80 percent)

2 Justin Christian Vinzon Gonzales (Central Luzon State University, 84.04 percent)

3 Mark Jayson Valerio De Leon (De La Salle-Araneta University, Inc. GAUF, 83.74 percent)

4 Julius Czar Moreno Bayan (University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan, 83.42 percent)

5 Niko Lawrence Harina Ylagan (UPLB, 82.90 percent)

6 Brion Pedreso Ta-ala (UPLB, 82.48 percent)

7 Winston Ildefonso Valenciano (Benguet State University-La Trinidad, 82.46 percent)

8 Dexter Roy Nicolas (UPLB, 82.30 percent)

9 Avon Pearl Boo Chavez (UPLB, 82.26 percent)

10 Edith Cruz Cruz (Central Luzon State University, 82.04 percent)
