Tsunami warning in PH, others lifted

MANILA, Philippines—The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) in Hawaii cancelled its tsunami warning over Philippines, Indonesia and Belau following a 7.7 -magnitude earthquake off Eastern Samar Friday night.
This bulletin is issued to government agencies. Only national and local government agencies have the authority to make decisions regarding the official state of alert in their area and any actions to be taken in response, the PTWC said.
