PNP chief fetches Robredo’s aide at PGH

MANILA, Philippines—The Aide De Camp of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo was already taken by the Philippine National Police on Wednesday.
Senior Inspector Jun Abrazado has been at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) for two days.
Philippine National Police Chief Nicanor Bartolome arrived at PGH around 5:30 in the afternoon to personally oversee the transfer of Abrazado to still an undisclosed hospital. Abrazado’s arms are no longer in a cast. He was in a wheelchair when he was whisked out from the private ward at the 5th floor of PGH.
“Let’s spare him. He’s been through a lot,” Bartolome said in a chance interview.
