Aquino arrives in Naga City

NAGA CITY—President Benigno Aquino III arrived at the Naga City airport at around 4:16 p.m. to personally brief Leni Robredo and her three children of the ongoing search and rescue operations for Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo in Masbate City.
The media was prevented from covering the meeting at the airport.
Social Welfare Secretary Dinky Soliman accompanied Leni and her children.
Earlier, Transportation Secretary Mar Roxas said the briefing with the Robredos “does not indicate any new developments or information other than that he wants to personally brief the family on the ongoing efforts.”
He said the President would proceed to Manila after the meeting to prepare for Ninoy Aquino Day events on Tuesday.
