Mayor Rama motocross at SRP
Cebu Daily NewsTHE MAIN event of the Mayor Michael Rama National Invitational Motocross Cup at the South Road Properties (SRP) kicks off today.
Around a hundred motocross riders competing for supremacy will highlight today’s race. A tune-up race was being held in Lipata, Minglanilla as of presstime.
Cebu’s international rider Jon Eleazar Adlawan will headline the list of top contenders along with other elite riders coming from the different parts of the country.
Other noted riders include Dondon Yuson of Ilo-ilo, Team Pacquiao headed by Buboy Fernandez and Jovie Saulog. Local riders will also be competing such as the Abellar brothers Juvenile and Jovanni and Pipo Rubi.
The race track at the SRP will feature around 50 jumps with a total of 900 meters.
The race will have expert open, expert 125, professional open, intermediate, open beginners, beginners enduro, novice, executive, veterans, peewee and habal-habal categories. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
