Receding flood reveals boy’s body in QC

The boy who went missing in the raging floods on Tuesday was found dead Friday morning in one of the worst-hit villages in Quezon City.
The receding water in Barangay Silangan revealed the bloated remains of Rommel Carson, 6.
The boy, along with his mother, brother and six others, fell off the fiberglass boat used by rescuers after it capsized due to the strong currents.
Barangay chair Crisell Beltran said the Carsons of Clemencia Street had been repeatedly told to evacuate before the flood but did not heed the warning. Julie M. Aurelio
