Pagasa issues thunderstorm warning in Quezon City, nearby areas

MANILA, Philippines—The weather bureau issued a thunderstorm signal warning in Quezon City and nearby areas Thursday morning.

In an announcement via Twitter at 5 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (Pagasa) told the public to expect moderate to heavy rainshowers and strong winds in Quezon City and nearby areas.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures,” Pagasa said.
