300 rescued from inundated QC village

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Tuesday said that some 300 persons have been rescued from inundated Barangay (village) Tatalon in Quezon City.
Updates from the MMDA’s official Twitter account said that aside from saving 300 persons, volunteers from the 700 Club with rubber boats have also joined in their rescue efforts.
The volunteers could rescue those stranded in the Laguna area, MMDA’s Yves Gonzales said.
