Coast Guard evacuates 189 families from Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine Coast Guard has already evacuated 189 families from barangays Tatalon and Damayan Lagi in Quezon City, Coast Guard’s Vice Admiral Edmund Tan said in an interview over Radyo Inquirer 990AM on Tuesday.
He said the PCG has deployed 4 teams—three response group teams and one water search and rescue team.
Out of seen rubber boats, he said they have already deployed four.
“The other three is still on standby,” Tan said.
