8 buried in Quezon City landslide

MANILA, Philippines—A landslide in a barangay (village) in Quezon City has buried eight people amidst strong rains Tuesday morning.
A landslide occurred in Barangay Commonwealth Quezon City morning. Eight people are believed to have been buried under soil, radio reports said.
The landslide occurred near the vicinity of Litex Road going towards the Payatas dumpsite, it said. The landslide happened around 7 in the morning.
One family had already been dug up and rushed to the hospital, it said.
