Konstrukt makes UABC finals

KONSTRUKT Permaplast barged into the finals while Healthy Homes extended its semifinals matchup with Plexibond to a rubbermatch in the 2012 United Architects Basketball Club Mini-Cup over the weekend at the Cebu Eastern College gym.


Athletic big man Jay-R Decatoria scored an incredible 42 points, including the game-winning freethrows, to pace Konstrukt to a 76-73 win over Knoxout in their semis pairing.


The other matchup saw high-scoring wingman Michael Cinco score 39 markers to keep Healthy Homes ‘ season alive with an 83-69 win over Plexibond.


The rubbermatch will be played this Sunday at the same venue while the winner-take-all finals will be on Aug. 19.
