B-Meg, Cebu Vet make finals
Cebu Daily NewsTHE B-MEG Llamados and the Cebu Vet Doctors set up a finals showdown after they hurdled their opponents in the Division 1 semifinals of the University of San Carlos Boys High Alumni Basketball Association last Sunday at the USC North gym.
The top-seeded Llamados dumped Batch 91, 65-42, as former PBA player Lou Regidor tallied 25 points.
Cebu Vet Doctors, on the other hand, was led by the 22 points of former USC Warrior Bong Eleazar as they bested Arthro/Solar Link Brokerage, 78-53.
In the quarterfinals of Division 2, the reigning champions Yayoy’s Grill narrowly escaped with a 59-57 win over Color Blind.
Forward Rocky Alcoseba scored 13 markers while Romeo Gabato added 11. Earl Abellanosa and former two-time Cesafi MVP Enrico Llanto each had 10.
In the other match, Batch 2003 defeated Batch 1999, 75-69. /Corresponmdent Jonas Panerio
