Around 181,000 aircraft departed from and arrived at airports in Metro Manila every year from 2001 to 2011, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. The metropolis had the biggest share of total aircraft movement in the country at 41 percent. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
