MANILA, Philippine—A utility worker was found unconscious inside an office at the Department of Justice building in Manila on Monday afternoon in what is believed to be a suicide attempt.

The 32-year-old victim, Arlyn Aviles, of Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, was found lying face down at Room 127, where State Prosecutor Caridad M. Junio holds office.  She had allegedly drunk silver cleaner.
Beside her was a suicide note addressed to an employee of the DoJ. The content of the note was not immediately available.

Aviles was rushed to the Philippine General Hospital and was reported to be comatose. She is an employee of DearJohn Services and assigned at the DoJ.
