Swiss survives attack

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Philippines—A Swiss national residing in the city survived a gun attack by motorcycle-riding suspects, according to police.
Daniel Gubler was taken to a hospital after he was shot around 11 p.m. on Liberty Street here on Tuesday.
City police Senior Insp. Arvin Pineones said investigators suspect “personal motives” behind the attack.
