There were around 2.3 million tourists in Metro Manila in 2010 or about 20.4 percent higher than the 1.9 million posted in 2009, according to the Department of Tourism. Of the 2010 figure, around 1.5 million were foreign visitors while about 815,600 were domestic tourists. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
