House preparations on high gear for Aquino State of the Nation Address

MANILA, Philippines — Preparations continued at the House of Representatives for President Benigno Aquino III’s third state of the nation address (SONA) with its Public Relations and Information Department threshing out details on security and media coverage for the event.

PRID Executive Director Rica dela Cuesta presided over the fourth meeting on preparations for Aquino’s SONA on July 23.

She ironed out with journalists the rules and guidelines concerning their media coverage as strict security measures were expected during the event.

    can’t wait for the SONA. wonder what the president’s sona will center on… yeah since he can’t brag about the backward economy, he’d just say he was successful in his anti-corruption drive (against his enemies). and he’d say lots of promised investments are pouring in (just like the last sona’s investments which even up to now still remains as promised investments). hmmmm can’t really wait to hear the sona implode. lol
