MANILA, Philippines – Manila Vice Mayor Fracisco Domagoso also known as “Isko Moreno” took another swipe at Mayor Alfredo Lim when he expressed his apprehensions over the  prevalence of ‘shoot-to-kill’ incidents  in the  city.

Alam nyo naman sa Maynila, usong uso  dyan ang shoot to kill,”  Domagoso said in an interview over  Radyo Inquirer 990AM on Sunday when asked how he was after  he and 28 city councilors  filed a complaint against Lim for alleged grave threats.

But Lim immediately denied threatening Domagoso and the 28 councilors, saying his remark: “Para bang wala syang kamatayan (It’s as if they won’t die like everyone else)” was just a figure of speech.

Despite the denial, Domagoso said they were studying other legal options against Lim.

“Kami ho ay nag-aaral na. Nag iisip na kmi ng mga legal na kaparaanan upang maipagtanggol naming ang aming mga sarili… kasi yung blotter is just one thing para lang alam ng kapulisyahan,’ he said, referring to the  complaint they filed Saturday.

Domagoso said Lim should not train his gun at him since he would not be running against the incumbent mayor in 2013.

Erap is the nickname of former President  Joseph Estrada, who is reportedly  planning to run against Lim.

Ang kandidato si Erap and I wish you all the best,” Domagoso added.
