Dolphins shoot for finals seat
Cebu Daily NewsTHE CEBU Dolphins aim to make it to the finals in the Baseball Philippines Series 9 as they take on the Alabang Tigers in the semifinals today at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
The task at hand remains a daunting one in spite of the twice-to-beat advantage that the Dolphins are armed with.
The Dumaguete Uni-Bikers will also try to arrange a finals showdown with the Dolphins when they tangle with the Manila Sharks in the other semis pairing.
The second seeded Uni-bikers and the Sharks battle in the 9 a.m. contest while the top-ranked Dolphins and the Tigers collide at 1 p.m. with the top two teams needing just a win to seal a clash for the crown.
Cebu and Dumaguete dominated the eliminations to gain the twice-to-beat advantages in the semifinals.
