Ochoa declines nomination for SC top post

MANILA, Philippines–Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa declined his nomination for the chief justice post.
In a text message to reporters Friday night, Ochoa said he would formalize his decision to decline the nomination next week by sending a letter to the Judicial and Bar Council.
Ochoa is the first nominee among the members of the Aquino government nominated for the chief justice post to decline.
