Free French movie showing

THE 17th French film festival will once again bring to the big screen five French films, including Oscar winning movie “The Artist.”

The free movie showing is organized by the Alliance Française De Cebu, in cooperation with Ayala Malls Cinema and the French Embassy.

The Artist is a black-and-white movie about the early days of Hollywood.

During the 84th Academy Awards 2012, the film won five Academy Awards including best picture, becoming the first silent film to triumph at Hollywood’s highest honors since the original Oscar ceremony 83 years ago.

The films ranging from drama, comedy, romance and adventure will be screened in Ayala Cinema from June 21 to June 23.
