Landslides hit major highways in northern Luzon – NDRRMC

MANILA, Philippines- National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Sunday said some northern Luzon highways were closed due to landslides.
NDRRMC Undersecretary Benito Ramos told Radyo Inquirer 990AM that among the roads hit by landslides were in Barangay (village) Bekkel in La Trinidad in Benguet, Barangay Balbalasang in Kalinga, Barangay Baay-Licuan in Abra and the Itogon-Dalupirit Road between Baguio and Nueva Vizcaya.
