Missous wins CBM tourism fun run
Cebu Daily NewsKENYAN ABRAHAM Missous cruised to an easy win as he topped the Cebu Business Month’s “Cebu Business Tourism Fun Run” yesterday at the Ayala Center Cebu grounds.
Missous topped the 5-kilometer race and was trailed by Adonis Singson and Michael Largo.
Missous is also the champion in last March’s X Terra Trail Run held in Liloan town, northern Cebu.
Meanwhile, 13-year-old Lynle Cardenas of Paknaan Elementary School beat older rivals to win the women’s crown. Camila Luterte placed second while multi-awarded trail runner Merlita Arias-Dunkin settled for third.
The official times of the top three placers in each division were not given by the organizers from the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) as of press time.
The race is part of the annual Cebu Business Month (CBM) Tourism Congress. Around 950 runners answered the starting gun yesterday. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
