Ombudsman orders dismissal of Pichay

MANILA, Philippines—Acting Ombudsman Orlando Casimiro on Monday ordered the dismissal of Local Water Utilities Administration chief Prospero Pichay and several others over the agency’s allegedly anomalous investment in Express Savings Bank Inc., a thrift bank in Laguna, in 2008.
