A shallow low pressure area was seen 100 kilometers south of Mindanao, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration.

The weather system will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers over Mindanao particularly in Southern Mindanao and Zamboanga provinces, it said.
