NABBED FOR DRUGS
AN ERRAND boy of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) was arrested after a pack of suspected shabu was found in his possession when he went to the Talisay City Jail in barangay Maghaway.
Sonny Yungco Montilla, 36, was detained pending the filing of charges against him.
Police said JO1 Coneberto Jugo frisked Montilla when he arrived at the Talisay City Jail on Thursday afternoon and found the white powder in his possession. CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
THEFT IN MANDAUE
POLICE arrested a teenager for allegedly stealing three Kabir chickens in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, at dawn Thursday.
Police said Reymond Pindo, 19, a native of Zamboanga del Norte, admitted that he stole the chickens owned by neighbors Elena Gumandoy and Gregorio Francisco.
Patrolling policemen saw Pindo carrying a sack while walking along the road around 1:30 a.m.
A chase ensued when Pindo ran after spotting the policemen.
When he was stopped, policemen found the sack containing three chickens.
