Akbayan wants ex-SC spokesman out as court administrator

MANILA, Philippines — Former Supreme Court spokesman Jose Midas Marquez should also be removed from his position as Court Administrator, partylist group Akbayan said Friday.

Emman Hizon, Akbayan Information Officer, said Marquez served not as a court administrator but as administrator for the defense team.

The partylist group accused Marquez of allegedly using his position to influence public opinion.
