Italian ‘flasher’ arrested
Being in a zoo does not give one the right to act like an animal.
An Italian tourist learned this the hard way after security guards at Manila Zoo arrested him and turned him over to the police on Sunday afternoon.
His crime: Exposing himself to three girls aged between 9 and 13 who promptly ran off and told their parents about him.
Andrea de Bonis, 36, now faces a charge of unjust vexation in relation to Republic Act No. 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Act at the city prosecutor’s office.
According to the girls, they were standing near the swimming pool at
the Manila Kinder Zoo when De Bonis approached them and asked for directions to the toilet. He then pulled out his organ and urinated in front of them. Afterward, he went to the pool where he again exposed himself to the young girls. Jeannette I. Andrade with Julliane de Jesus, trainee
