No dialysis treatment at Pasig City hospital on Good Friday

The Pasig City General Hospital's dialysis unit will be closed on Good Friday, the local government of Pasig City announced Saturday.

MANILA, Philippines — The Pasig City General Hospital’s dialysis unit will be closed on Good Friday, the local government of Pasig City announced Saturday.

“The Pasig City General Hospital (PCGH) – Dialysis Unit will be temporarily closed on Friday, March 29, 2024, to give way to the observance of Good Friday,” the Pasig City Public Information Office (PIO) said in a Facebook post.

The Pasig City PIO also advised dialysis unit patients that there will be no dialysis treatment on Good Friday. Treatments scheduled for the following week will be conducted from March 25 to 28 and 30.

It assured that patients with scheduled dialysis treatments will receive their appropriate services.

“The PCGH – Dialysis Unit ensures that those scheduled for dialysis treatments will be provided with medical services, including those currently admitted to the PCGH, on the five days that the facility is operational each week,” it added.
