Aquino names new deputy ombudsman

MANILA, Philippines—President Beningo Aquino has appointed Gerard Mosquera, a member of the  Presidential Commission on Good Government, as deputy ombudsman for Luzon, Palace documents released Friday show.

Mosquera replaces Francis Jardeleza, whom the President appointed solicitor general in February.
