Nearly 7 in 10 Filipinos (68 percent) say “it is too early to tell” if President Aquino’s six-year term will end in success or failure, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed.

The survey, published in BusinessWorld on Monday, showed that by region, the “too early to tell” opinion was most pronounced in the Balance of Luzon (74 percent) and Metro Manila (73 percent). In the Visayas and Mindanao, 63 percent and 57 percent, respectively, thought so too.

An average 22 percent (32 percent in Mindanao, 30 percent in Visayas, 16 percent in Luzon and 15 percent in Metro Manila) said the President will be successful; while 10 percent (11 percent in Metro Manila and Mindanao, 10 percent in Luzon and 7 percent in the Visayas) said he will be unsuccessful.

The survey, conducted on June 3-6, used face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
