Kool Adventure Camp tapped for teambuilding

/ 06:43 AM May 04, 2012

THE ability of the facilitators of the Kool Adventure Camp (KAC) of the Ramon Aboitiz Inc. to draw out issues and challenges for further learning egged City Savings Bank (CSB) to tap again the KAC for their teambuilding activity.

Maila Quijano, assistant vice president for CSB’s Human Resources department, said that one of the bank’s induction programs for its new employees is the Leadership Enhancement Adventure Program (LEAP), an adventure-based program of KAC that is designed to provide an avenue for personal and organizational awareness; promote a deeper understanding of CSB’s vision, mission and values; and develop appreciation of individual roles toward achieving the bank’s goals.

“KAC also provides the participants consultation and post-program intervention,” she said.

Quijano said the program was not only fun but also offered an experiential approach. She said the program was designed to prepare the mind-set of employees to accept bigger challenges in the current bank expansion.
