Cebu booters shoot for 2nd win in Suzuki

THE UNIVERSITY of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R)-manned Cebu eyes its second win as it goes up against Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) today in the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Suzuki Cup U23 at the Don Bosco Boys Home in Liloan, northern Cebu.

The was supposed to be held at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City but was transferred due to a conflict of schedule.

After bowing to Iloilo Football Association in its first home game last month, Cebu wants to bounce back to improve its points and solidify its position at the top 3.

However, Cebu’s task will not be easy as it goes up against strong NOFA team which has yet to lose a game in this Visayas eliminations.

Cebu has 4 points after posting a 1-1-1 (win-loss-draw) record while NOFA holds a clean 2-0-0 slate. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
