3 security escorts killed in Las Pinas shooting

By

MANILA, Philippines – Three security aides of Banco Filipino’s Bobby Aguirre were shot dead by still unidentified assailants Saturday night, RADYO INQUIRER reported  on Sunday.

Authorities said the victims – retired Senior Police Officer 2 Melvin  Padaca, Police Officer 3 Luisito Macatunao and  David Maguira—were killed inside  Aguirre’s house  in BF Homes, Las Pinas.

The police could not determine yet the motive of the killings but ruled out robbery, saying nothing was stolen from  Aguirre’s  house.

In fact, probers found a motorcycle at the crime scene, which they said probably used by the suspects.

The police were now looking at the possibility  that Aguirre, who was allegedly receiving death threats, was the real target of the killers.

Based  on initial investigation,  three suspects  entered Aquirre’s house  and  killed the victims.

The authorities also raised the possibility that the victims  knew  their killers.
